![[»] to the in fide of it, in fuch manner, that though the tefticle is l'o loofe at the infer- tion of the fpermatic veifels as to permit very free motion trom iide to tide, yet if either it, or the fpermatic veil'ds, be pul¬ led ftrait upward, toward the kidney, this adheiion will be found to detain it from going higher, unlefs the epididymis breaks, which a fmall degree of force will effed, it being very tender. While the tefticles continue in the abdomen they are always naked, that is, they are not enveloped in that loofe in which they are conftantly found when in the fcrotum, called tunica vagi¬ nalis teftis.
