M.O.H. could find no cause. 14. —Scarlet fever : at Trescoe, Ashton, and Rinsey, in Breage ; at iownshend, SB, which at last sho-ws signs of abating. Return delayed through illness of Registrars. 17.—The Scarlet fever case occurred in the Union yVork- t of sickness, chiefly from influenza and catarrh. The eleven deaths over 65 averaged 78^ years, 23.—Typhoid : Bakehouse yard, W ellington Ses are croup, not diphtheria. 25.—Typhoid and scarlet fever in Halestown, and the neighbouring hamlet Carnstaba. Influenza influenced the ;-emoved to Urban Sanitary Hospital. 27.—Notification Act came into force here on 8th March. Influenza & other diseases of respiratory organs cases, 17.
