Food Poisonino, During the year an outbreak of salmonella food poisoning, with all the cases occurring in adjoining districts, was traced to an infected 6^ lbs. tin of corned beef sold loose on his round by a butcher, whose shop is situate within this district. 1 hanks to some excellent co-opeiation from the medical practitioners, the Public Health Laboratory, and the firm involved, it was possible to recover the infected tin and to arrive at conclusive evidence as to the source.
