Description

A detailed account of neonatal development from birth to 14 weeks. It begins with a scene of childbirth and other images include film of the development of the baby's brain from birth to 4 months; breastfeeding; thermograph of baby showing loss of heat; graphics of brain cells forming connections; how baby see light and objects; brain cell tendrils seeking connections; baby yawning; baby smiling and grasping. The commentary explains the development of the brain and senses, and of communication skills.
