    It was firft intended that this Hofpital, tho’ a diftint Building, fhould only be confidered as a feparate Ward of the Infirmary, and that all Benefations to it, as well as the weekly Stipends paid by the Patients, after difcharg- ing the Governors and Servants Wages, ando- fher incidental Expences, fhould be thrown in¬ to the Infirmary Cafh, by way of Satisfaction to thatCharity for their Board and Maintenance, which was the Practice followed to the 25th of March 1771 ; but it is now judged more eligible, that the Treafurer fhail keep a dif¬ tint Account of all Benefations given to this Hofpital, and all Cafh received by him for the Subfiflence of Patients annually: Bal¬ ancing the fame with the Governors and Servants Wages, and what Sums he may have paid to the Infirmary for their Subfiflence, and other incidental Expences; by which Means the Benefactors to this particular Cha¬ rity, as well as to the Infirmary, may clearly fee how far the One is independent of the Other, and the Period may be fortunately dis¬ covered , when, with the Intereft of Money arifing from Benefations, together with the weekly Stipends paid by thofe of better For¬ tunes, the Poor may expet to be admit¬ ted Gratis. N. B. No fmaller weekly Stipend has hi¬ therto been taken, than Five Shillings for poor Lunaticks, nor more than One Guinea for
