The present Raja, whose name is Hurree Bukhsh Pal, succeeded, a few years ago, to his brother, who is said to have been a most promising young man; and of whom his people still speak with enthusiastic admiration. He was particularly fond of conversing with Europeans, and informing himself of their manners and customs. The](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b22011389_0033.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
