![[ 26° ] Blondel’s work appeared a treatife was publiilied by one of our own artille- rifts, Anderson (a perfon of eminence in his profeflion), intitled The genuine Ufe and EfeBs of the Gun, in which the author flrenuoufly fupports the Galilean theory; nor do we learn that he was ever contradicted among us, although he undertook to an- fwer all thofe who Ihould make objedlions to it.
