The present copy belonged to Dr. Puiip Briss, pr., F.s.A., and hasa MS. note by him on flyleaf It also contains the autograph ‘ Will: Thompson, Queen’s Coll: Oxford, 1752’ (1712 ?—1766?, poet, imitator of Spenser), a MS. extract on Spenser’s life, and’ some lines of Milton’s in the same hand- writing. Fashioning twelve Morall Vertues, first folio edition, with numerous woodcut head- and tail-pieces, folio, newly and handsomely lound in mottled calf extra, g.e., by W.
