About this work

Physical description

1 print : wood engraving

Lettering

Residence of Antoine Lavoisier. Cordier. Provost.

Creator/production credits

The form of the signatures suggest Cordier was the engraver and Provost the designer. Adhémar, loc. cit., records two wood-engravers called Cordier: one without a forename, who worked ca. 1882, and Henry Cordier, who is recorded 1931-1934
