![HAZARD & CASWELL'S Prepared 071 the Sea-shore by Mr. CASWELL personally. From Fresh, Healthy and Selected Livers. COD-LIVER OIL. The universal demand for an article of Cod-Liver Oil that could be depended upon as strictly rURE and scientif- ically PREPARED, having been long felt by the medical profession, we were induced to undertake its manufacture at the Fishing Stations, where the fish are brought to land every few hours, and the livers, consequently, are in great perfection. The inanufaclure is personally superintended by our Mr. Caswell. The Trade can rely upon this Oil as being absolutely Pure Cod-Liver Oil, without adulteration with other fish oils, perfectly sweet, pleasant, and agreeable to the taste, prejiared without ihe aid of any ch(micals, by the sim]^lest possible process by which the Oil can be separated ; therefore containing unaltered all the medicinal properties naturally existing in Cod-Liver Oil. It is nearly devoid of color, odor and Havor, having only a bland, fish-like, and to most persons not unpleasant taste. It is so sweet and pure that it can be retained by the stomach when other kinds fail. We are the ONLY bottlers of Cod-Liver Oil who superintend its manufacture, therefore the only ones who KNOW that ALL the oil they bottle is pure Cod-Liver Oil. Prof. Parker, of New York, says: '* 1 have tried almost every other manufacturer's oil, and give yours the decided preference. This preparation is made directly from the Royal Calisaya Bark, not from '\i?, alkaloids or their salts, being unlike other preparations called Elixir of Calisaya and Iron, which are simply an Elixir of Quinine and Iron. Our Elixir can be depended upon as being a true Elixir of Calisaya Bark with Iron. It is a pleasant, straw-colored cordial, combining the three most valuable tonics, iron, phosphorus and calisaya. without injury to their active tonic properties, in an agree- able elixir pleasant to the taste and acceptable to the most delicate stomach. Ferro-Phosphorated Elixir of Calisaya and Bismuth. (Calisaya, Iron and Bismuth.) Ferro-Phosphorated Elixir of Calisaya and Strychnia. (Calisaya, Iron and Strychnia.) Ferro-Phosphorated Elixir of Gentian. Elixir of Lupuline. '1 his Elixir contains the virtues of Lupuline in pleasant combination with Aromatics. Elixir Valerianate of Ammonia. In our Elixir the intense odor and disagreeable taste of valerianic acid are com- pletely masked without injury to its therapeutic qualities, and presents the virtues of Valerian in a palatable form.
