    noma of the lids or of the conjunctiva may extend into the orbit, or it may break through from the adjacent bony cavities, especially the antrum of Highmore (Fig. F). Early recognition of the last-named condition is most important, as operation very soon becomes impossible if the cancer is allowed to o-row for anv length of time.
