Herbal medicine. Bellis perennis (Common daisy). Coomon daisies in flower, white with yellow centre. Used as a homeopathic remedy and was once used in ointments to treat eczema. Also used in home remedies to soothe delicate and listless children. The leaves are eaten in salads in some rural areas of Europe. A tea made from daisies and primroses is said to have a gentle hypnotic effect in cases of insomnia.
