Description
A litle book of warme beere, shewing by many reasons that beer soe qualifyd is far more wholesome that that which is drunk cold. Printed at Cambridge, 1641. An abridged MS. version: followed by two sermons by other authors, the last incomplete. The two sermons are: Swan (John) [ -1671] Profano-mastix. Concerning the respect that we owe to God and His house in outward worship... 1639 (11. 8-19). [S.T.C. 23513.] Mede (Joseph) [1586-1638] The reverence of God's house: a sermon. 1638 (11. 19-24). [S.T.C. 17769.] The end is wanting.

D. for Henry Oveton, and are to be sold at his shop entering into Pope's Head Alley out of Lombard Street in London. 1641'. [S.T.C. (F.)', from the Preface which is stated to be initialled 'F.W.'
