Description
Transmission electron micrograph showing two
inflammatory cells (granulocytes) in the corneal
stroma adjacent to the site of a corneal ulcer.
This area is essentially normal although there is
some disruption of the collagen fibrils in the
lamellae. The cells are approximately 2-4 microns
in diameter.
