    Heart Disease. Greatly relieved by taking tablespoonful of Whiskey in Milk. (1) For Swooning or Syncope, take Cinnamon in Whiskey or Wine. | (2) Two drachms each Rose and Orange Flower Water and Bugloss and Spirits of Roses, half-ounce Cinnamon Water, one and a half ounces Syrup of Cloves and Gilly Flowers; mix well. Dose— Two spoonfuls regular intervals, Heartburn. Drink Sage Tea. Hot Water. Half-cupful Every Morning before breakfast is invaluable for keeping one in good health. Hop Bitters. Mix one ounce each of Tincture of Dandelion and Buchu Root. Tincture of Hops, to three pints boiling water. Tablespoonful night and morning. Hoarseness. Glycerine and Lemon Juice, or Hot Milk peppered. Hair, To keep in Curl, pour Boiling Water over some soap and a tea- spoonful of Borax, and stir until dissolved. Bottle and cork up. Damp the hair with this just before Curling. Hands (Soiled). To clean, add a little Paraffin to the water you wash in, and use good soap. When dry, rub with Glycerine and Lemon Juice. ae indigestion. (1) Nutmeg or Turkey Rhubarb chewed in forenoon is a good thing. (2) Two grains Pure Pepsin, three grains Pure Pancreatine after meals, Hat plenty lemons; avoid sweets and greasy food. (3) One drachm each Powdered Colomba Root, Ground Ginger, half drachm Carbonate of Soda. This will make twelve powders. Take one in milk three times daily. (4)One pennyworth Colomba Root to pint of Boiling Water. Wineglass three times daily.
