Ath advocate the adoption throughout Christendom of a bloodless and natural diet, because the practice of eat- ing the flesh of animals is :— rst.—A violation of one of the most important Physical Laws which govern man’s being, and the cause of a large proportion of the visual limitation, degen- eracy, disease and carnality with which our Race is cursed. and.—A transgression against Moral Law; because it involves the massacre of millions of sentient creatures, and the infliction of an appalling amount of cruelty which is totally unnecessary. T° exalt Humane, Hygienic, and Spiritual Ideals, and to publish an Evangel of Health, Life and Power. Ae plead the cause of the weak, defenceless and oppressed, and to deprecate cruelty and injustice and all that is opposed to the true spirit of Christianity. aie members of The Order are voluntary workers pledged to seek the attainment of these objects by daily example and personal influence. They are divided into two classes—Companions and Associates—the former being abstainers from flesh, fowl and fish as food; the latter from flesh and fowl only. he work of The Order is maintained by voluntary contri- butions from its Members and Friends. All services rendered by Members, whether literary, editorial, administra- tive, or on the platform, are rendered gratuitously. A copy of the Prospectus and Rules and a Form of Applica- tion for Membership will be forwarded tf requested, together with any information that = be desired.
