Documentation received with the textitles including a receipt from the Broadway Department Store, presumably sending the items to Henry Wellcome following his mother's death in 1897, a scrap of paper and an invite to a statue unveiling with details of the provenance of the items written in green ink on the reverse. Packaging the coverlet and blanket came to the collection in has been disposed of.
