![Scrap Meta] Dealers Act, 1964. Thirty scrap metal dealers were registered within the Borough at the end of the year. naddling pools: The four paddling pools in the Borough have become very popular* with the children, and were well patronised during the seasone Swimming pool: Samples of the water are taken regularly by the Health Department for examination* to ensure that high standards of cleanliness or purity are maintained. Health Education: During the year a poster campaign was carried out in the district* Various posters dealing with Food Hygiene* Accidents in the Home, Health Matters, Blood Transfusion Service, etc., were distributed in 'bus shelters and on public buildings. Whilst the actual results of such a campaign cannot be measured, it is hoped that the Information given has alleviated and minimised some of the suffering which is brought about by ignorance and neglect of such matters.
