The more unknown a Medicine c is, generally fpeaking, the greater Value c we fet upon it • but furely it would be ‘ better all unknown factitious Drugs were c banifhed out of our Shops, or however * difcountenanced by the true Profeffors of c Phyfick. Thefe are my Thoughts upon ‘ Manna, and its Ufe in Phyfick; which, c I queftion not, will be deemed odd and c particular, being very different from the * common Opinion had of this Drug : But c I am ready to produce good Authorities c for what I advance, and that this is a c Matter of Concern to the Publick.
