Overdosage. The margin of safety for dosage with vitamin B, is enormous. The lethal doses by intravenous injection were 125 mgm. per kilo for mice, 250 mgm. per kilo for rats, 300 mgm. per kilo for rabbits, and 350 mgm. per kilo for dogs. The fatal doses for subcutaneous or oral administration were 6 to 40 times the intravenous (Molitor and Sampson, 1936). There appears to be no cumulative action. The minimum {toxic dose is about 7,200 times the therapeutic dose.
