![[ I°° ] leave to obferve* with refpeCl to in¬ jections ; that they may be employed with much greater advantage, and (as far as the parts themfelves are concern- ed) with infinitely lefs hazard, upon wo¬ men than upon men.—Liquors which no prudent man would think of injec- ing into the urethra may be thrown up the vagina without any degree of dan¬ ger. I have repeatedly ufed fublimate injections here with great fuccefs: but what I have faid in the general as to the Gonorrhoea in men, muft be allowed to hold as to the fame difeafe in women ; fo that if the inflammation run? high, or any other fymptoms occur, that may forbid the ufe of injections ; it will be neceffary to keep an eyeupon all the cau¬ tions before given on that head.
