![SLAUGHTERHOUSES ACT, 1958 With the Constructional and Hygiene Regulations hecoming operative on the 1st January, 1963.? both the private slaughterhouses were closed temporarily, until they had been brought up to the requirements of the Regulations. The Slaughterhouse at Eckington re-opened on the 1st March, 1962, and the one in Newlands, Pershore, on the 28th September, 1962.
