    iii. In this case of mixed nodular and nerve leprosy eparseno was pushed, so as to produce arsenical rash and other toxic symptoms, without in the least ameliorating the leprous condition. iv. The writer quotes a letter from a missionary lady in Tanganyika stating that the ulcers in a number of lepers healed under the use of oscol stibium. No information is given as to how long the cases were under observation. v. Perforating ulcer, with exfoliation of pieces of bone, and atrophy of the digital bones of the foot, as shown by X rays, in a tabetic patient are described ; but the absence of anaesthesia or of leprous skin lesions allowed the latter disease to be excluded without difficulty.
