![Dose : one or two teaspoonsful three times a day, in milk or wine. Or, Tines, of Caulophyllin, Macrotin, Female Regula- tor, Trillium, and Horse Gentian, equalparts; Carbonate of Ammonia a dram to the pint. Mix. Dose: from one to two teaspoonsful three times a day. With either prescription ; bathe the feet in hot water, or take a vapor bath if convenient. Commence the treatment a week before the time for the catamenial discharge. Other remedies. Horseradish and Comfrey; Helonin;. Figwort; Spanish Needles. Or, two ounces of Peach-kernels to a pint of Brandy. Dose : of any of the first five, a wine-glass full of the in- fusion; of the last, a teaspoonful three times a day. 391. FALLING OF THE WOMB. [Prolapsus Uteri.] The best practice for a permanent cure, is to place the positive pole of a battery on the lower part of the spine, and at the same time put the negative pole in contact with the mouth of the womb; use Ale and other tonics to im- prove the general health.
