HIS Review has for its aim, in home politics, social progress and complete religious equality and freedom of thought; in foreign politics, the subordination of national interests to international justice and the welfare of mankind. It is opposed to Imperialism, and defends the cause of weak and oppressed nations. It has never ceased to urge the just claims of India. It takes its stand on a scientific philosophy and a human morality ; it devotes considerable space to sociology; it com- memorates the life and work of great men. It contains short reviews of the chief books issued, and paragraphs on public events.
