Description

Studio based discussion with some patients (mostly parents with affected children) discussing the recognition of early complications of head injury. Asphyxia is emphasised as a contributing factor to brain damage as well as the commonest cause of death with injuries which would not otherwise be fatal. Describes the role of the doctor at the scene of an accident and demonstrates techniques of resuscitation on a model in the studio.
