The Annual Death-rate, the Mortality of Infants, the loss of life from Zymotic and Pulmonary Diseases, have a numerical relation to each other, and the existence of any one Table of Numbers pre-supposes the existence of the others equally favourable. APPENDIX. The Medical Practitioners in Margate having kindly consented to fill up a simple formula, the following table is the result. A similar desire to ad- vance the cause of science in other localities, would advance the knowledge of the natural laws affecting life, disease and death materially, and produce valu- able results.
