The last in a six-part series following the stories of people undergoing gender reassignment surgery. Here we meet Donna (b. Donald) and Emory (b. Emori) - Emory's case has some complications as she is a haemophiliac. Both tell the history of how they came to such drastic conclusions as to their gender and in both cases we see detailed surgical footage and some footage following up the surgery including interviews two months after the surgery. The surgeon in both cases is Marci Bowers, based at Wilson Rafael Hosptial, San Diego who herself underwent sexual reassignment surgery, male to female.
