    fuccefs of the medicine in his cafe, as publiflied by Dr. Falconer^ with a num- ber of others, induced me, about fix years ago, to provide myfclf with fe- veral fets of Dr. NootFs apparatus for I preparing it; fince that time a great number of people have been fupplied with ^this medicine from my fhop, and have ufed it for a variety of complaints, but chiefly for the Gravel and Stone. Though we do not mean to attri- bute virtues to it, which it does not poflefs, yet we are warranted to believe, that its efiicacy entitles it to more ge- neral ufc; and probably experience ' will prove its falutary nature in a number of difeafes, for which it has fcarcely as yet been employed.
