Rimedii a diverse infermità de cavalli [e delle bestie bovine]. The MS. consists of two parts, the first in 2 volumes, the second in 3 volumes. Receipts No. 27-66 of the first volume of the second part are for human maladies. The beginning of the second volume of the first part reads 'Libro Cave. Giacomo Forni Cave. di S. Stefano di Fiorenza, Gentiluomo di Modona'. On the verso of the last leaf of the index to part 2 of Vol. 2 is a receipt signed 'Angelo Burzi' dated 1730: after the Index to Part I, Vol. I, is a receipt dated 1780.

A leaf has been torn out before the text of the first volume of the second part: the lower halves of the half-titles of the second volume, and of the third volume of the same part, have been torn away. Two leaves at the end of the text of the same volume have also been torn out: the last leaf of the final index is wanting.
