It was anticipated tiat tne majority of those opera.ting slaughterhouses before the war would wish to do so once more, but in actual fact, only 6 finally considered tliat tine cost of bringing their premises up to a required standard, togetlier vlth tine difficulty of obtaining suitable rmd qualified labour, justified them so doing.
