    New York, Nov. 6, 1846. Prof. Draper. Sir—At a meeting of the Students of the University Medical College, held on Monday last, Robert M. O'Ferrall, of Ohio, being in the chaii, and J. Sill, of Michigan, Acting Secretary, it was unanimously Resolved, That a Committee be appointed to solicit, at the hand of the several Professors, a copy of their excellent Introductory Lectures for publication. We, who have the honor to constitute the above Committee, take great pleasure in ex- pressing the warmest desires of the Class, to which we would add our humble request, that a gratification so great to us, and at the same time so honorable to the Institution, as the publication of your eloquent and able address, delivered on Friday last, be not withheld.
