This brought away iuch a Quantity of Urine, that, in elevefi Days, all the Water was evacuated, and no Trace of Dropfy remained. CASE V. t t A Woman, aged Thirty, having been afflidted with a Tertian Ague for nine Months, and at lafb cured, fell ill of a Dropfy. Many Phyficians and Medicines were employed. But the Diieafe grew daily worfe and fhe was confined to her Bed. She had a violent Third, the Pulfe was very quick* and fomewhat hard, her Belly tenfe, and fo much en¬ larged, as to render her Breathing frequdnt and dif¬ ficult. On Account of the Hardnefs and Quicknefs of the Pulfe, and great Third, the cooling nitrous Emulfion was prefcribed, on the fird Day.
