![Staffs to impress upon mothers the very real danger which exists by children not being vaccinated against both Smallpox and Diphtheria. Ambulance Services.—There has been no changes in the ambulance services during the year. The numbers of mothers treated during the year and those made “dentally fit” have also increased as will be seen from Table VII to my report. Domestic Help Scheme.—The cost of the Domestic Help Scheme is still on the increase and during 1955 the cost exceeded £17,000. No whole time helps are employed but the services in the homes were carried out by no less than 189 part-time domestic helps enrolled under the scheme.
