"[Illegible] & Receipts" on cover Culinary, medical, household and cosmetic recipes, with a few veterinary items: in several hands, with index.Medical prescriptions include "For nervous depression of spirits", two for the treatment of cholera, instruction on "Application of leeches" A number of entries relating to decorative arts, "To make flowers blow at Christmas", "For Transparencies", "To take the impression of a butterfly in all its colours"varnishes, inks, etc.Doodles of heads on stained pages towards the end.
