About this work
Description
'Fragile Lives - Immunization at Risk' is an independent film made by Jenny Barraclough for BBC World and PATH (Pathways to Appropriate Technologies in Health). The film charts the obstacles faced by childhood immunisation programmes across the globe because while immunisation saves up to three million young lives a year, there are still many more millions that could be saved. Filmed on location in Africa, Asia and Europe, we here encounter some of the successes and failures of immunisation programmes.
