The District is supplied with water from springs at some distance from the town, and the water stored in a. service reservoir. The supply is abundant and of excellent quality, but a trifle hard. IhxKLiXGTOx. The town is supplied 1)3^ water gathered from springs at ^lillington about three miles iSoi'lh of the town. The Waterworks are not the ])ropeit\' of the District CouiK'il. The rest of the water sup])l3' is obtained from shallow wells. Ao new wells have been made during the past 3’ear, but two wells where the water was unsafe have been closed. Twent3- five houses have been connected to the water mains during the 3'ear. WiTiiERXSEA. The District is supplied with water in bulk to the town boundary by the Hull Cit3 Council from their main, which passes through the Eural Districts of Sculcoates and Patrington. The total amount of water used from the Public Supply dining the 3'ear was 28,()96,0()() gallons.
