The Poor I^aw Authorities are interpreting this very literally, and press us to find aecommodation for all tlieir oases of tnberonlosis. Modern Sanatoria are ideal foi’ the treatment of eases which are capable of airest and for the treatment of children threatened with or suhering from the disease, but they are not suitable for the treatment and nursing of advanced oases. The elaborate accommodation necessary for the treatment of early oases is not called for when the adyanoed stage is reached, nor need these patients undergo the discomforts which this system entails, but until some other lu'oyision is mad© for the care of
