    PREFACE TO THE FIFTH EDITION HIS represents the fifth edition of Spondylotherapy, the first A edition of which was published in 1910. This edition has been enlarged to include Progressive Spondylotherapy for the years 1913 and 1914 and an address, Human Energy. The author ventures to hope that his new physico-clinical methods which appear in the latter address may be the means of attaining greater precision in diagnosis.
