Description
Transmission electron micrograph showing an
abnormal stromal keratocyte in the cornea. This
cell shows Golgi apparatus and prominent lipid
droplets in the cytoplasm which it appears to be
releasing into the surrounding stroma. There are
also atypical or fine fibrilar deposits in the
stroma. This field is approximately 11 microns
across.
