![19 heard from him, that upon the Ecclesiastical Commissioners entering into an agreement to confirm the Conveyance to the late District Board in the year 1884, and to do other matters suggested by Counsel for the Council, they (the Council) will be prepared to favourably consider the Vestry's application for the and he was instructed to prepare the necessary deed. The Vestry also approved the action of the Surveyor in offering Mr. Mears 10d. per load for using the surplus material on the Bishop's meadow for backing up the river-wall, and that Mr. Mears accept ance of that offer was agreed to. The Clerk was, on the 21st December, 1892, instructed to write to the London County Council asking them to expedite the loan. Eelbrook Common. Tar-Paving Footpaths. On the 80th March, 1892, Mr. E. A. Cornwall, L.C.C. reported to the Vestry that the Committee of the Counci] had decided to view Eelbrook with reference to the Vestry's applica tion to have the paths tar-paved, and on the 11th May, 1892, Mr. Cornwall reported that the Committee had that day viewed the Eelbrook. As the result of the Committee's view, and of the opinions expressed by the Members of the Vestry present, headed by Mr. Cornwall, the Council have tar-paved the whole of the principal footpaths across Eelbrook. Approach to During the year the Vestry have caused gulleys to be constructed, and the approach to Eelbrook to be channelled, and the London County Council allowed the Vestry to connect these gulleys with their new drains on the Common. Urinal Accommodation. In June, 1892, the Vestry referred the question of providing urinal accommodation for both sexes at the junction of King's Road with Wandsworth Bridge Road, to the Works Committee with power to act, and on the 20th July, 1892, the Works Committee recommended that the Clerk be instructed to prepare memorial to London County Council pointing out the great need of a public urinal for both sexes on Eelbrook Common, requesting them to grant a site and subscribe a moiety of the cost, and praying to be heard by deputation, and on the 9th November, 1892, the memorial as prepared by the Clerk was approved and sealed by the Vestry, and a deputation appointed, who waited on the London County Council on Thursday, the 24th November, 1892. Recreation Ground, Junction of Fulham Palace and Crown Roads. Loans.
