"'Off sick and Gina's sketchbook diaries' is a project Geraldine worked on between 2007 and 2018. Geraldine was struggling with her own health challenges and struggling to get diagnoses and support. In an attempt to cope with this, she created the character 'Gina' and began to write Gina's story, inspired by her own. Interspersed in the text are drawings by Geraldine, some drawn from dreams on waking in the night." -- Geraldine Walsh
