Cola per linteum, ut fiat enema. In Ascarides.—Rudolphi. AURANTIUM. Orange. The dried rind of the Seville or Bitter Orange, C. Bigaradia, is a light bitter tonic, stomachic, and slightly astringent. It is much prescribed as an accompaniment to other medicines ; particularly the stronger hitters, quinine, neutral salts, &c., to render them less offensive to the palate or the stomach. Al- though regarded as a very safe remedy, large quantities of the peel have proved fatal to children.
