    In the course of the year, the Society has been deprived of Eight Members by death, viz.: His Royal Highness the Duke of York James Cumming, Esq. J. M. Good, M.D. F.R.S. The Rev. C. H. Hall, D.D. Dean of Durham John Jones, LL.D. The Right Rev. G. Pelham, D.D. Bishop of Lincoln John Pearson, Esq. John Winterbottom, M.D. William Mitford, Esq. one of the Honorary Members, has likewise been lost to the Society by death. The numbers upon the List of the Society are, at present, Members Honorary Associates Honorary Members t Foreign 224 17 10 8 Total, including the Ten Royal Associates 269
