    PASTA AMYLI IODIDI. % Pulveris Aruyli oz. j. Glycerini fl. oz. ij. Aquae destillatse fl. oz. vj. Boil together, and when nearly cold add Liquoris Iodi (P.B.), fl. oz. j. PASTA ZINCI CHLORIDI. This paste is prepared by first making ;he #Liquor Zinci Chloridi cum Opio, and hen adding Mour to render it of a proper :onsistence, as follows :— I Liquoris Zinci Chloridi cum Opio fl. oz. j. Tarinse Tritici gr. 120. Mix smoothly in a mortar and heat over a water-bath until of a proper consistence. * Liquob Zinci Chloridi cum Opio. I Zinci Chloridi oz. 16. Pulveris Opii oz. 1^. Acidi Hydrochlorici fl. dr. vj. Aquam bullientem ad O j. /lacerate the Opium in twelve ounces of the boiling water for twelve hours, add the Acid and filter, then dissolve the Chloride of Zinc in the filtered liquid and make up to twenty ounces with distilled water. 13
