IX August 1818.” As it is at present established, the Infirmary is Avell furnished for the reception of upwards of 1*20 patients, all at one time; and a regular House Surgeon and x4pothecary, Mr. .lohn Silver, is ap- pointed, whose time is entirely devoted to the ob- jects of the Charity, under the direction of Doctors Brown and Grey, the Physicians, and George Slater, , Esq., the Consuming Surgeon, resident in Margate. It is cheering, Mr. Editor, to the staunch bene- factors of our diseased, industrious, and loyal liOn- don poor, to notice the ])rogressive blessings ema- nating from an Establishment so truly National.
