Unmarried mothers and Illeg-itimate Chil¬ dren. The Haven, Southgute. Ambulance Eacilities. For infectious cases, a motor ambulance is available at the Joint Isolation Hospital. For non-infectious and accident cases, the motor ambulance of the St. John Ambulance Brigade is ex¬ cellent. In necessitous cases the Public Authority bear the cost. Laboratory Work. Pathological and bacteriological examinations are carried out by the West Hiding County Authorities at Wakefield. A stock of diphtheria antitoxin is held in readiness for immediate use by any of the local medical practitioners on application to me.
