    New Order which the Bible tells us is to be the rule of Christ over all the world. Reflect, therefore, that the Book which has thus already proved itself Divinely inspired, by the fulfilment of its ancient prophecies, is to be absolutely trusted in its teach- ings regarding the true line of our individual develop- ment. “ We have also a more sure word of pro- phecy ; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts ” (II. Pet. i. 19). Truth is one whole; and whether it be revealed in philosophy, or science, or history, or prophecy, it nowhere contradicts itself. And the supreme Truth is this—the tabernacle of God is with Man—I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people ; and I will put my laws in their hearts, and upon their minds will I write them, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
