Description

In Welsh folklore, the dog Gelert saved the daughter of Prince Llewellyn from the attack of a wolf, but was mistakenly killed by the prince in the belief that the dog had attacked his daughter, not the wolf. In the print the dog and the girl sit on her the bed looking out over a mountainous Welsh landscape
