    Overcrowding. There were no cases of overcrowding reported during the year. Improvement of Dwellings. Discretionary Improvement Grants. Six applications in respect of six dwellings were received during the year, all of which received approval. Two of these were in respect of tenanted houses. The total amount of grant aid approved amounted to £2,001, an average of £333 10s. Od. per dwelling. Total number of dwellings improved to date ... 191 Standards Improvement Grants. Twelve applications were received during the year to improve 12 dwellings to the full standard and all were approved. The total amount of grant aid approved amounted to £1,820 (maximum).
